ParaApp ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application for monitoring Bitcoin mining on Parasite Pool and managing local Bitaxe miners. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

    Summary: ParaApp is designed with privacy in mind. We do not create user accounts, do not use analytics or tracking, and do not sell or share your data with third parties. All your preferences are stored locally on your device.

Device Permissions

ParaApp requests the following permissions:

Camera: Used exclusively to scan QR codes containing Bitcoin addresses. Camera data is processed locally and never transmitted or stored.
Network/WiFi State: Used to detect your internet connection status and discover Bitaxe miners on your local network. This information is not transmitted externally.

Third-Party Services

ParaApp communicates with the following external services:

Parasite Pool API (parasite.space): We send your Bitcoin address to retrieve your mining statistics, hashrate history, and pool information. This is the same public API used by the Parasite Pool website.

We do not use any analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking technologies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to third parties. Your Bitcoin address is only shared with Parasite Pool's API to retrieve your mining data, which is the core functionality of the app.

Data Security

Your data is stored locally on your device using standard platform storage mechanisms. We do not maintain any servers that store your personal information. Communications with external APIs use HTTPS encryption.

Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all app data at any time by:

Clearing the app's data through your device settings
Uninstalling the app

Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store your data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to access, modify, or delete. All your information remains on your device under your control.

If you are located in the European Union (GDPR), California (CCPA), or other jurisdictions with data protection laws, please note that:

We do not collect personal data beyond what you voluntarily enter into the app
We do not create user profiles or track your behavior
